Latest Acquisitions Revisited!

Got a few things in although not sure why I got myself another Lee. For some reason I thought I was ordering a Grant. Oh well. Now if only I could get to the basement to model and to print. We started an upgrade and I've been moving equipment I really shouldnt be moving and so paying for it. Then our Washer let out the magic smoke and light that make it work and so had to get a new washer and dryer. Boys did most of the heavy lifting until I found out the oldest has a hernia and so I had to get in there and oh boy but i'm paying for that. I cant wait to try out the Dspiae reciprocating sander. From you tube reviews it looks awesome.View attachment 169581View attachment 169582View attachment 169583View attachment 169584View attachment 169585View attachment 169586
Do you have a link to the reciprocating sander James?

Well that sucketh. Cant get the sander charged. Had the lights come on for a little, but otherwise nothing except the handle getting hot. Thinking a poor solder connection or something. Will return it for another.

And final update. Checked my Sons Birthday present and it charged just fine. Has 3 speeds. Hope to try it soon. Mine will go back and hopefully get replaced and then give it a check and put it back in the Birthday pile for Phil later this year.

John (Keavdog) posted about a good sale on this one so I snapped it up. The other Ju-87's I have are mostly Monogram and Revell, though there is a Ju-87A from Special Hobby in 1/48.

Its been a number of years since I built my 1/32 Tamiya F4U1 Birdcage in British markings so I finally got myself a F4U-1D and hope to try and make markings for Hampton Gray's bird. He was posthumously awarded a VC for his actions Aug 9 1945.

I also finally popped for an A-20 Havock. I was holding out for a glass nosed version, but I found decals to do a South Pacific bird which are very interesting.

These are the decals I have ordered from Sprue Brothers. I cant believe the postage they are asking, but I really want this so there you go.

Boats are not my thing, but I have a plan for this one!

What stones you have! Even I will pass on the old-tool Glencoe Motor Life Boat kit. You plan piques my interest nonetheless.
The old-tool-still cool 1/32 George is a treasure for certain!

I bit the bullet on the 1/16 Puma a while back. Should be coming in about any time. I am hoping Andy or Das Werk will do one of the U.S. halftracks in the larger scale. I know that years ago there was a restored half track that would run around Tulsa once in a while. Was in a hobby shop on Peoria and saw it drive by all green and boxy with tracks. That was soo cool!

Trumpeter do the 1/16 M16 if that helps.
I figure that Andy or Das Werk will do a really nice one that will be a better price here pretty soon. No rush or want on it at all. Just saying if they did one I would probably jump on it.

I have picked up a couple of things recently. Trying to just get add ons for kit already in my stash a few at a time.
